Several families in Sacramento County will begin receiving a $725 stimulus payment each month starting in September 2025. The cash support comes through the Family First Economic Support Pilot (FFESP), a guaranteed income program created to provide financial stability for parents and legal guardians caring for young children.

The initiative aims to improve household well-being by offering direct cash assistance to families in need. Payments are targeted to 200 randomly selected households living in specific areas of the county.

Who Qualifies for the $725 Stimulus Payment?

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Residence: Must live in one of these Sacramento County ZIP codes – 95815, 95821, 95823, 95825, 95828, or 95838.
  2. Child Requirement: Must be a parent or legal guardian of a child between the ages of 0 and 5.
  3. Income Requirement: Household income must be below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).

How Much is the $725 Stimulus Payment and How Long Does it Last?

Eligible households will receive $725 per month for 12 months. The program runs until July 2026, providing consistent financial support throughout the year.

How Will the Payments Be Distributed?

Beneficiaries can choose to receive their monthly payments in one of two ways:

  • Through a prepaid debit card.
  • By direct deposit into a bank account.

This flexibility ensures participants can access their funds securely and conveniently.
