The university of Cape Coast through the Institute of Education has announced admissions into some of it’s the major sandwich programmes for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The announcements were made earlier this year to create the awareness for interested applicants and the general public.
Forms are out for the university’s two major sandwich undergraduate programmes in education. The programmes include the 3-Semester Bachelor of Education sandwich programme and the 5-Semester Bachelor of Education sandwich programme.
The 3-Semester Sandwich Programme
The three-semester sandwich programme is a Bachelor of Education programme that runs for three sandwich semesters. Its purpose is to aid basic schoolteachers who want to upgrade to the bachelor’s degree level. Read more about the three-semester programme here.
Courses on offer under the three-semester programme include Bachelor of Education Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Education Primary Education and Bachelor of Education Junior High School Education. Read more on the 3-semester courses and centres here.
The 5-Semester Sandwich programme
The five-semester sandwich programme is a Bachelor of Education sandwich programme that runs for five long sandwich semesters. The programme is run during vacations to enable basic school teachers to acquire a bachelors degree. It also provides the opportunity for basic schoolteachers to acquire the necessary training to teach at the senior high school level. Read more here

How to Apply
Interested applicants should purchase an application e-voucher at any of the sales centres announced and proceed to the online admissions portal at topup.ucc.edu.gh to access the online application form.
Under ‘’Application Process’’, applicants should select ‘’click to apply for a programme’’ for further instructions.
