The Institute of Education, University of Cape Coast, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) have introduced a 3-Semester Bachelor of Education (Post-Diploma in Basic Education) Programmes in the sandwich mode to enable persons with Diploma in Basic Education (DBE) to be upgraded to a Degree Status.
Persons Interested should apply at topup.ucc.edu.gh.
Applicants who wish to pursue this programme are to note that the deadline for application into the programme is 31st May, 2023.
Also, qualified applicants will be enrolled automatically onto their choice of programme.
To create more engagement time for the programme, online teaching and learning will be adopted to support the traditional face-to-face mode. Therefore, eligible applicants would be required to have a smartphone, tablet or any device that would allow them to connect to the internet to enable them to participate fully.
It is very important to note that only those who have passed the Diploma in Basic Education Examinations or have the DBE Certificate will be allowed to fill the online application form. NO fee is required before filling the application form.
Applicants will be required to select the programme of their choice and the corresponding Study Centre, in line with their elective subject areas.

Apart from applicants who are interested in the Early Childhood Education programme, applicants who want Primary and JHS programmes should choose centres that offer their corresponding elective subjects.
