Who Is Eligible for the Alaska Stimulus Payment?
To qualify for the $1,000 PFD payment, residents must meet the following requirements:
- You must have lived in Alaska for the entire 2026 calendar year
- You must intend to remain an Alaska resident indefinitely
- You must not have claimed residency in another state or country
- You must not have received benefits based on residency elsewhere
- If you were outside Alaska for more than 180 days, you must have been physically present in Alaska for at least 72 consecutive hours

When Is the $1,000 Stimulus Payment Deposited in January 2026?
The Alaska Department of Revenue has confirmed the following payment dates:
- Applications marked “Eligible – Unpaid” as of December 10, 2026 were paid on December 18, 2026
- Applications marked “Eligible – Unpaid” as of January 7, 2026 will be paid on January 15, 2026
If your payment was not issued in December, January 15, 2026, is the next confirmed deposit date.
How to Check Your Alaska PFD Payment Status
Residents can check their payment status online through the official myPFD portal.
Once logged in, your dashboard will show your current status. If your application shows “Paid,” you will also see the payment type and the exact deposit date.
If your status still shows “Eligible – Unpaid,” your payment should be included in the next scheduled distribution.
