Canada Child Tax Benefit Payment Dates in 2026: August Payout & Eligibility

Canada Child Tax Benefit Payment

Canadian parents receiving the Canada Child Benefit (CCB) can expect their next payment on Wednesday, August 20, 2026. The CCB is a tax-free monthly payment from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) designed to help families with the cost of raising children.

Each July, the CRA recalculates benefit amounts based on the previous year’s income (for the 2026–2026 benefit year, that’s your 2026 adjusted family net income). Payments are indexed to inflation, meaning amounts are adjusted annually to keep pace with the cost of living.
