PassionAir is inviting applications for the position of Senior Finance Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our finance team and contribute to the success of our operations.
Role Overview
The Senior Finance Manager will report directly to the Financial Controller and supervise two Assistant Finance Managers. This role is critical in ensuring effective financial management, compliance, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will lead financial reporting, budget management, and process improvement initiatives, and act as the main liaison between the finance department and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and guidance to Assistant Finance Managers responsible for accounts payable, revenue, and financial reporting
- Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports in compliance with IFRS and other standards
- Monitor budget performance and report variances with detailed analysis and recommendations
- Strengthen internal controls to protect company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial input for strategic initiatives
- Mentor and support the development of Assistant Finance Managers

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or CIA
- At least five years of experience in finance, with a minimum of three years in a managerial or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Ghanaian financial regulations, and aviation industry financial practices
Skills
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in financial management and ERP systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
