Shatta wale accepts to fight Sarkodie
After what seemed to be a challenge thrown at Shatta Wale yesterday in a video on social media at Bukom Boxing Arena, the ‘‘Dancehall King’’ accepted to fight Sarkodie in less than 24 hours on the condition that the winning price is made 2 million dollars.
The rivalry rapper, Sarkodie in a new video had invited the dancehall musician to a boxing match during a recent trip he made to the Arena to watch some boxing bouts organized by Max Boxing Promotions.
The rapper when asked by the organizers to deliver a verdict on what he had witnessed so far expressed his excitement for being there and promised to return to watch more of the bouts going forward.
However, it was his challenge to the dancehall artist, Shatta Wale, which caught the attention of the public.
As if he was expecting such a challenge especially from a rival, Shatta Wale said he was more than ready to face the rapper, Sarkodie in the ring and show him who the superior fighter is, after a fan on Twitter drew his attention to the request from the rapper.
In the popular Shatta Wale voice, he responded; “The way ago beat am erh!!! He go think say me I born am”.
“I am down but make them put $ 2 million as winning price… If they make ready with the money make them call me!,” he added.
Sarkodie’s challenge has sparked a lot of interest and debate among fans and critics alike who have either applauded him or questioned his motives on whether he seriously wants to take on the dancehall star in a bout.
Well, this is not the first time that a celebrity has invited the other to the boxing ring. In recent times, there have been many examples of celebrities engaging in such highly publicized boxing matches over the years, including the recent famous bout between two YouTubers; Logan Paul and KSI.
It will be interesting to see how this story unfolds and whether the two musicians will actually step into the ring and this time around settle the age long beef once and for all. Is this going to be the new way for settling beefs…? well that’s a question we would get answers to going forward.
